The shaded tea leaves have been harvested and are now in the finishing stages of becoming gyokuro and matcha.

Although there has been little rain this year, the tea leaves have turned out very well.

Tencha leaves are then ground through a millstone to make matcha (powdered green tea).

The process of grinding Tencha to powder by millstone takes a time.
